[horde] help!

Running the latest releases of horde and imp (non-cvs-head).   
Suddenly when I try to log in with my test account instead of going  
directly to imp as I have it set up to do it goes here:

login.php?url=%2Fhorde%2Fservices%2Fmaintenance.php%3Fmodule%3Dimp

which gives me the horde menu items at the top and a blank white  
screen below the "last login" line.  The only buttons that work at  
the top are problem, help, and logout.  I have NO idea what could be  
causing this (I was playing with the login.inc file to customize the  
look... that's about it).  I don't understand what could be going  
wrong.  I set the error reporting to ALL and logged in again but the  
logs still tell me nothing.

The only thing in my apache error log is:

File does not exist: /var/www/htdocs/horde/imp/favicon.ico

Note that I CAN log in normally with my normal (admin-enabled)  
account.  But something has gone bonkers for this other account and I  
am worried it may propagate to other users.

No errors or anything in the access log.  I haven't a clue where to  
look for what's going on.  Can anyone suggest anything?
