[horde] Language selection doesn't work

Hello.

I am using IMP/Horde 3.0.6 and language selection doesn't works. Do I 
have to configure sometthing?

I am using Debian and I selected some languages in dpkg-reconfigure locales.

I have read TRANSLATIONS and typed:
      $ export TEXTDOMAINDIR=/var/www/horde/locale
      $ (LANG=es_ES; LANGUAGE=es_ES; LC_MESSAGES=es_ES; gettext horde 
"Message" )
      Mensaje

and it works.

But langtest.php doesn't work,  I get that result:
Memory exhausted
Message
Message
