[horde] horde in chroot environment

Hi all
I am struggling to install horde (just horde itself at the moment) in a dedicated linux box providing virtual domain hosting through ensim pro 4.0.2-7. The box is running Fedora Core 1.
I untared horde in one of the virtual domains document root folder. 
The test page loads fine only if I chown the horde folder by root.root. Any other chown e.g admin.apache or apache.apache gets me a page with these at the top

Pear modules r installed fiine. Its something to do with access rights but I cant pin point it.
