[horde] Repost: Registry objects should never be cloned.

I repost the following due to rhe fact, that I discovered, that the 
Thunderbird
junkmail controls discarded some good messages. As I cannot know if
somebody meanwhile gave me a brillant answer to my question, I decided
to try again:

I had huge problems tryung to find out, which Horde versions would work
whirg which PHP version, so I decided to try the latest, and presumably
greatest

PHP version 5.1.2
Horde version 3.1RC2  (same problem with 3.1RC1)
Apache version 2.0.55

test.php reports all in green, but as soon as I access Horde, I get:

A fatal error has occurred
Registry object should never be cloned
Details have been logged for the administrator.

A similar entry is found in horde.log, but nothing whatsoever in
any apache log or php.log.

Any help highly appreciated - tnx in advance.

Googling brings nothing, apart from a few sources for Registry.php,
where this error message is generated. Maybe this lists archive
knows something, but this archive does not seem to be searchable -
or at least I cannot find out how to do it.
