The plan is to just move that data out of the datatree system into a
more optimized table structure. There's no specific timeline on that
yet, but it's 99% going to happen.

You can try setting the DataTree driver to "None". I'm not positive
this won't have negative side effects, but theoretically it should
work and it'd probably be a bug (or bugs) if it didn't.
