Sounds like your IMAP server is broken - possibly related to the
'CHILDREN' tag. You can check the bugs list for a list of other
people who have shared your same issue, and every time the resolution
was either an IMP misconfiguration or a buggy IMAP server (and/or
PHP's c-client).
