Hi Paul,

Are you considering perl code that works via OpenLDAP ? I have the start 
of a module based on the OpenLDAP Perl sample that allows you to bind 
either to a global address book, or, via ou's, to a users address book 
if you have any permissions to it.

For example, if your base is :

ou=My Contacts,ou=userid at yoursite.com,o=yourORG

You would have access to that address book.

No, it isn't much yet, but neat to have users create the address books 
and then allow LDap to them.
