[horde] registry

I am trying to tie the 'name' value of a sidebar entry to a $_SESSION variable - 
but it keeps getting set to Horde.

This session variable is set in a postauth hook so maybe the registry is built 
before this is called???

Is this possible? I can only seem to set the 'name' value when i hardcode a string.
