[horde] Horde + IMP (HEAD): maintenance procedure and approach from the sistemistic point of view

Dear All,

i am now evaluating how to manage in a cleaner and proceduralized way
the updating and maintenance of a horde HEAD installation.

Many of us use horde HEAD because it's much more full featured and need
those feature.

However horde HEAD is a continuous on-going project and a lot of bug
fixes are done during the time.

This required frequent updating of the software and reconfiguration of it.

I am wondering if someone already evaluated how to manage a frequently
updated installation of horde HEAD.

I was thinking about playing with "ant" scripting and subversion in
order to have the download+autoconfiguration of horde HEAD based on our
requirements but i would like to ear some ideas from other people that
need to quickly update an horde HEAD installation without reconfiguring it.
