[horde] New items are not bold, no icons?

A fresh horde 3 installation.  With IMP, and a few other addons. 

 

I have another horde install which I can compare this install to. 

 

When new mail arrives, the messages do not show as bold.  They are
simply displayed.   On my other horde install, new messages come in and
are marked with a little envelope, and in bold print before they are
read. 

 

Is there some option that enables this? Or is there some php module I'm
missing?
