[horde] horde 3.1.5 installation problem

hi folks.

i tried to install lhorde 3.1.5, followed the instructions
in docs/INSATLL. i was successful to the point that the
http://mysite/horde/test.php works fine. but when i
go to http://mysite/horde/index.php, firefox came up
with the "The page isn't redirecting properly" error.
and the url rewritten to:

http://mysite/horde/index.php/login.php?Horde=d7f6a15394e0cd3ad82af67d8cc762a6

i'm using apache 2.2.3 under Debian, horde is installed
in /usr/local/horde and i add the following in the apache
config:

Alias /horde /usr/local/horde

is there anything else that i'm missing?
