[horde] consequences of setting the datatree driver to null

  Hi there,

  We have recently deployed Horde Groupware Webmail Edition 1.0.4.

  Since the very first day the application was online we realized a very
slow performance. This was due to the MySQL server. There were plenty of
queries to the datatree table. We tried to tune the database server, we
gave more resources to it ... but it was imposible ... it was almost on
fire every time.

  After Googling a little bit we decided to deactivate the datatree
driver in the conf.php file:

//$conf['datatree']['params']['driverconfig'] = 'horde';
$conf['datatree']['driver'] = 'null';

  After that, everything is being fine.

  I believe this driver is needed in order to share objects and to
manage groups ¿? ... but we're not really sure. Are we missing something
else setting the driver to null?

thanks for your help,
