[horde] Horde Webmail Ldap authentication intermittent

Hi

I have just installed Horde on a fedora 8 vm. Everything is working great
except the authentication seems to be slightly hit and miss. The ldap
authentication does work, but only at certain times. I have found that if I
login then logout I can't usually log back in straight away, however leaving
it 15-20 seconds will then usually allow me to log back in again.

I have also found reloading the page sometimes resolves the problem. I get
the message "could not search the ldap server". After looking in the horde
log it is showing the problem from like 116 in login.php and 142 in
Auth/ldap.php.

Has anybody else had this problem and can anybody help me?
