[horde] no mail displayed

I moved a horde installation from one machine to another. Everything looks 
fine, but no mail is displayed. User can log in (IMP handles the 
authentication), he can open the Inbox, and the Inbox page title is:
Inbox (145)   Reload  Search    Page 1 of 8   1 to 20 of 157 Messages

but the first 20 messages are not displayed.

Clicking on the Next page arrow brings a page titled:

Inbox (145)   Reload  Search    Page 2 of 8   21 to 40 of 157 Messages

but again no messages are displayed.

I am no IMAP expert. Is this communication normal? Is there any hint why it 
displays no message headers?
