I have some portal layout defined in older version of Horde 3.1.x.
Now, I migrated tables to latest Horde Webmail group edition (Alpha
one). I find that, I don't get remove button for the blocks which
were already created. But, suppose I create any new block, remove
option comes. And, if I suppose, create the same existing (old)block
again, that is second instance of the block, both of them (old block
and new block) get remove option, and when I remove one of those
blocks (same type), the other one looses its remove option.
In order to further debug, I deleted the preferences from table for
portal_layout alone. And, system wide there is no default set. And
when I log in, I find some default portal_layout (may be this is HORDE
default). In this case also, remove block option does not get
displayed.
I have tried to clarify as much as possible.
Conclusion: It is impossible to remove a block.
