[horde] Spell check issue with HTML Composition

Hello there,
                  I am using the latest version of horde groupware webmail and imp is also up to date below are the versions listed. I have an issue with spell check (aspell) in HTML composition mode. In HTML composition mode spell check doesn't work while it works fine in text composition mode. When we do spell check in HTML mode it shows that it is checking (Checking ... ) but it never completes and hangs. 

One more thing that I noticed after enabling Debug logs is that entries shown below are logged when I click spell check in HTML mode while no such entries appear while in text mode.

If any other information regarding this is needed please inform me as it is an essential requirement for our setup. One more thing I used patches to upgrade my horde groupware webmail versions twice. Can that be the issue? Any help will be highly appreciated.
