Hmm, ok thank you for the reply. While I understand this is how 
preferences work, it doesn't suit very well for a corporate environment 
when you have some standard categories that you need the system to have. 
It seems kind of primitive on Horde's part to me.

I guess to get around the problem, I'll clear the categories tables out 
so users can pick up the globals. Then they will have to add their own 
back in.
