Hi Stefan,
why dont let ingo use ftp
vfstype' => 'ftp'
install vsftpd only for localhost
and let vstftp create files and directories
under the dovecot or the vmail user
i have a simular setup for uploading spamassassin rules from
squirrelmail, vsftpd uses mysql auth in this setup, which horde dovecot
and postfix do too
