[horde] I've been confused about horde versioning since git partially took the place of cvs head.

If you mean you want to update your FRAMEWORK_3 based install, then  
you can continue to do that without touching Git. Just use the  
FRAMEWORK_3 tag when updating from CVS.

Git code and CVS HEAD are for Horde 4 which is growing substantially  
different from Horde 3 code. Which one you use depends on your needs.  
I will say that you should not be using Horde 4 code in production at  
this point.

Ah. Well, if your purpose is to just follow along and possibly help on  
new development, then you definitely want Horde 4 code, which means  
CVS HEAD/Git.
