Which example exactly do you use? The first example on that page works
just fine, and the error message doesn't even make any sense in this
example's context.

No idea what you mean by that, but you can't simply embed the complete
Kronolith application into another website. You can embed widgets, you
can create your own calendar output using API methods, and you can
embed Kronolith in an IFRAME, though this will break out during
logging in/out.
