[horde] Horde4 CVS to Horde4 alpha 1 migration

Hello,

  one of my servers runs Horde4 CVS version of about 3 years old. What
  is  the correct way to upgrade to Horde4 ALPHA? I'm mostly concerned
  about  PHP  versions,  because  that  server runs PHP 5.1. And ALPHA
  doesn't  work  with  it. I also have another server with PHP 5.3 and
  thinking   about   moving  to it. Do you think CVS version will play
  well  with  PHP  5.3? Or should I upgrade current version to the one
  which runs on PHP 5.3, move to new server, upgrade again to ALPHA?

  I need only major guidelines.
