[horde] Horde 4 RC1 requires memcache (?)

Hello,

  I'm   just now starting to test pear installation of Horde 4 and I'm
  stuck on installing.

  I'm  not sure if I'm doing something wrong but it seems that Horde 4
  requires  memcache?  I'm  trying to install Horde_Db, which requires
  Horde_Cache,  which  requires  Horde_Memcache,  which  requires  PHP
  module of memcache.

  This  module  is  not available (or even needed) on every server. Is
  this intentional?
