Thanks, now I have no notification and I see the basic search form. The 
end result anyway is the same: full unfiltered mailbox display with 
character 0 in URL, no IMAP search command in the imap debug log.

I see that at line 52 of imp/mailbox.php, $search_mbox ends up being 
false, so it looks like the URL or something in the session is not 
recognized as a search result page.
