[horde] ActiveSync causes errors in Imp

I have ActiveSync enabled on my iPhone, and it is working fine - I  
have contacts and calendars syncing well. Very cool.

But with the device enabled, I repeatedly get the following messages  
in Horde logs:

2011-05-21T11:28:05+10:00 ERR: HORDE [imp] IMAP server denied  
authentication. [pid 13537 on line 472 of  
"/var/www/horde4/imp/lib/Imap.php"]
2011-05-21T11:28:05+10:00 INFO: HORDE [imp] FAILED LOGIN for simon  
(Horde user simon) [192.168.1.155] (forwarded for [120.152.164.189])  
to {server04.simonandkate.lan:993 [imap]} [pid 13537 on line 177 of  
"/var/www/horde4/imp/lib/Auth.php"]

Apache log  on the reverse proxy server has this:

120.152.164.189 - - [21/May/2011:11:27:59 +1000] "POST  
/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync?User=simon&DeviceId=Appl79030T3BA4S&DeviceType=iPhone&Cmd=Ping HTTP/1.1" 502 434 "-"

And apache error log on the reverse proxy server has this:

Originally it was logging them for Administrator and simon, but  
removing Administrator from the Horde admins array removed the  
Administrator ones.

They come between every 10 - 90 seconds. Removing the ActiveSync  
account from my iPhone makes them completely stop.

I have "Mail" turned off in the iPhone for the H4 ActiveSync account.

Setup is:
Reverse proxy apache server (192.168.1.155) -> horde4 server (.170) ->  
IMAP (Cyrus) server (.160).
