I don't know if a release is planned. There were discussions to integrate 
passwd into the basic horde module.

I packaged a version of passwd for H4 as RPM out of private interest. This is 
NOT a horde release and I am not willing to give any support for this at the 
moment. If it eats your account, well, you have been warned. It's more or less 
a snapshot of work in progress from the git repository. I have tested the new 
"hordeauth" driver and the "sql" driver. Do not expect any guarantees, upgrade 
paths or whatever.
