[horde] Fatal Error in Prefs.php when enabling lzf.so

Hello:

Horde 4.0.5.
Ubuntu Server 10.04

I'm getting this when I enable lzf.so in my /etc/php5/conf.d/lzf.ini:

Fatal error: Call to a member function exists() on a non-object in 
/usr/share/php/Horde/Prefs.php on line 310
Fatal error: Call to a member function isDirty() on a non-object in 
/usr/share/php/Horde/Prefs.php on line 384

If I comment the 'extension=lzf.so' in the .ini file, then it works.

Any pointers?
