I don't think the FAQ would be appropriate for the depth of documentation
I'm thinking about here.  But a wiki page for the various blocks might be
reasonable (and a FAQ entry which points to those pages maybe?).

Comments in the code, and documentation in the wiki, combined, might be
one way to go.
