As allready stated, the funambol client will may not make you happy with
syncing tasks, only calendar and contacts should work mostly
for your spez problem a thinkable reason is some wrong
timezone setting somwhere ( client and/or server )
keep sure that times zones and date/time are in sync
on client and server
