CACert is now installed on my PC as a Trusted Root certificate, and IE
and Chrome no longer generate certificate comments, and show it as
Green. The CACert is also now installed on the two servers in the
Horde chain (client -> reverse proxy server -> Horde web server) and
both the CACert and the *.simonandkate.net cert verify OK on both.

Generating a Freebusy request in Kronolith still returns:
SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:
error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate
verify failed[Monday, 19 March 2012 8:50:19 PM]
