For production, we run SLES11SP2 stock PHP with a few self-packaged
php extensions which are not in the SLES distribution. We may have to
maintain our own PHP stack in the future but we'd rather not.

Production Horde 5 comes as RPM files built in open build service.
No line of code is ever directly compiled on a production or staging
machine.

Development happens on openSUSE and SLES VMs with stock PHP and horde
git checkouts.

My private horde is a git checkout updated when I think it is time. It
runs on openSUSE distribution PHP.
