[horde] ActiveSync failing on fresh install with Horde 5.0.3

Hello

I'm hoping someone may be able to point me in the direction with the  
issue I am experiencing with Horde & ActiveSync, the initial setup  
works fine, I am not using auto discovery so I simply enter all the  
required details.  As I am using Android I left email on to sync,  
however I dont actually want this but was recommended by the Wiki page  
http://wiki.horde.org/ActiveSync#toc11 in relation to 4.1.2, even  
though I am running 4.1.1 (Galaxy Note 2).

In the process of trying to debug the issue I am experiencing I  
enabled the Custom logging and received the following output in the  
log, this occurs every 2 - 3 seconds and the device constantly  
attempts to sync.

I believe I am reading the error message correctly that the Table  
webmail6.horde_activesync_cache doesn't exist and this is the cause of  
the sync failing, however I'm not 100% sure this is the cause of the  
sync failing and am looking for a little guidance.

In an attempt to resolve the issue I did delete both the horde and  
pear directories, I installed pear in a separate location as the  
system instance of pear is being used by an old installation of Horde  
and this is my test bed until I can get it up and running and finish  
the migration from a horde 4 alpha that seems to break in really  
horrible ways everytime I have tried in place upgrades.

After reinstalling both (Pear and Horde) following the instructions at  
http://www.horde.org/apps/horde/docs/INSTALL and still I am having no  
luck getting the sync to work.

In a last ditch effort I have updated MySQL & PHP in case this was the  
cause of my issues.  It is important for me to point out that Horde,  
IMP & Kronolith all appear to work alright, Kronolith has a few  
hiccups but in Basic mode works fine (Dynamic is a little broken).

I believe because I have installed pear in a separate directory I  
haven't been able to run pear/horde-db-migrate which errors with  
errors pointing straight to the original installation of Horde (The  
still current one).

Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what I could try?
