Gah.  So, I didn't manage to get all the file permissions correct (I
obviously didn't do the *.local.php ones).


But now I got the error

A fatal error has occurred
DirectoryIterator::__construct(/usr/share/git-horde5/themes): failed
to open dir: No such file or directory
Details have been logged for the administrator.

It doesn't matter if I make the $app_webroot = horde or not..
