This won't work, you can't just uninstall Horde_Core. The following  
should do this in one go:

   pear install -f horde/Horde_Core-2.4.1

For now I'm back to Horde_Core-2.4.1 too, since I experience a problem  
with logging of ActiveSync (ignoring the priority). See  
http://bugs.horde.org/ticket/12109 for more info.
