Still I have no idea how to set cursor above quoted text in FF

but do you know how to set signature above quoted text in reply and
forwarding. It's strongly co with adding signature into compose view
(http://horde.690.n7.nabble.com/Add-signature-in-mail-compose-view-td108558.html).
