[horde] strange forced logout

I changed now the horde session handler to:
$conf['sessionhandler']['params']['path'] = '/var/cache/sessions/';
$conf['sessionhandler']['type'] = 'File';
And the problem persists.
In the first row, seems like horde cannot retrieve the session data.
I don't know why?
In this way, it's only horde that manage the sessions?
I forgot to mention, horde is from the fresh git master repo.
