[horde] Horde authentication for single user with multiple GMail accounts

Hello,  after I could finally install and run Horde 5 for the 1st time, I
am seeking for people's feedback and experience with authentication.

My needs are very basic:

Single user (for now)
Will be connecting IMP to my GMail account as well as a secondary email
account
Secure authentication (encrypted credentials)
Must be able to log to Horde in offline mode, that is, if the internet is
down, or Gmail's having problems, Horde will allow me to login nevertheless.

Before on Horde 4 I chad configured IMP to be the authenticator, and it was
using my primary Gmail's account credentials.  It happened that I wanted to
access my calendar in Kronolith but since the server was offline, I
couldnt... Kinda of a problem as it depends on external services.

What authentication setup do you guys recommend?
