Just wanted to give a quick update to the list.

As of Thursday afternoon, we are now ~$500 short of funding this
feature. A giant thank you to the ten contributors so far.

I'm pleased to announce that SAPO (http://www.sapo.pt/), a long-time
supporter of both Horde and open-source software in general, has
provided $1,000 towards the goal. (Due to details that will interest
nobody, this funding appears to be coming from me. I wish it was as
easy as pledging money to yourselves :) )

So this means we are 80+% of the way to the goal. If you were on the
fence about contributing - I hope this will provide the necessary
incentive in order to allow this useful feature to become a part of IMP.

Agreed. Thanks to some of the other Horde dev's, we've advertised via
our social media streams. Considering we only need another $500, even
a small amount of advertisement will hopefully be all we need to fund
the rest.

Good idea, although apologies for the cross-post for those subscribed
to multiple lists.

horde at lists.horde.org subscribers: you can look at

for further details regarding this fundraiser goal.

Well... the current campaign really supports me much more than the
Horde Project in general :) Granted - the intellectual property
produced as a result of this will be openly available to everyone (via
the GPL) so the benefits are community-wide.

But this platform does allow me an opportunity to remind everyone that
if there are features you would like to see in Horde, that a fantastic
way of supporting the project is to fund new features. Although I
can't speak for the other developers, *I* much prefer this approach
than the "tip-jar" approach. The latter rests on our laurels; the
former provides a way to make the software even better. See
http://www.horde.org/services for further information.

Thanks everyone,

michael
