Thanks Andreas, I am aware of that - I'm a long term Horde ActiveSync user. I tend to leave it running as it means I can more effectively monitor changes with upgrades. My server is low load and the logs are rotated daily, so it's not a major issue. 

This log file size increase is relatively recent.
