[horde] relation between AllowOveride None in httpd.conf and horde_alarms script

Dear List,

When Apache configuration had AllowOverride None for Horde Directory,
horde_alarms was not working (Did not see the error log), but when
AllowOverride was changed to All for the sake of Tasks to work,
horde_alarms also started working sending alarm events.

Does horde_alarms script makes use of httpd?
