[horde] intl vs. idn module

Hi,

test.php says:
Internationalization Support: No
Horde requires the intl extension to handle Internationalized Domain 
Names. Compile PHP with --enable-intl.

Even with pear/idn installed, I get this info, too:

horde/Horde_Mime can optionally use package "pecl/idn"

Shouldn't all Horde modules use the same extensions, as idn and intl 
conflicts with each other and cannot installed both simultaneously?
