[horde] Help! Followed the FAQ and still get 'User is not authorized'

This is on a new installation. I had managed to get through the first round
of authorization problems (and I'm really not sure how), but now they've
come back. All of a sudden, it's going nuts:

This is on CentOS release 6.5 (Final), a 64-bit system. It just won't let
go. The authorization method is IMAP with dovecot on the same machine (but
it looks to me like that part is working). I've flushed my cookies and
followed the FAQ.

Is there a way to just shoot this because it's clearly doing something
totally wrong?
