Hi,
I'm trying to configure a fresh Horde installation on Debian 7. My current problem is that regardless of which option I choose (SQLlite, MySQL...) the database schema will not be created.
Meaning that, in case of MySQL, I created a user for Horde, created a database and assigned the user to the database. Using the MySQL cli client I can access the database with that user and can create tables.
When I open up the Horde webinterface and set the values for the MySQL connection and click the 'Create Horde configuration' button, I get an error message, basically saying that various tables are missing, which is true. There is not one table being created in the database. There's also no error in my syslog indicating any kind of MySQL connection problem. (Aside from not finding tables).
In the official documentation it says something about a 'Update All DB Schemas' button, but I don't see such a button on the webinterface.
I'm kind of lost here and would appreciate some help.
Some more direct questions:
Should the database tables be created automatically? If not, should the 'Update All DB Schemas' button create them? Or do I've to create the tables myself? (In that case someone should write that into the documentation).
With kind regards
Steffen Winkler
