Hi
I have installed the Ingo with the Horde correctly. The status of the
application shows "Application is Ready". Please see
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0892ruud95
However there are no options for the "Auto responder". I thought Ingo will
avail an option for auto responder once it is installed. But nothing shows
at Mail >> Filters. See
http://awesomescreenshot.com/03c2rusr1d
Is there anything I am missing.. ?
I hope the installation is correct according to the Doc
http://www.horde.org/apps/ingo/docs/INSTALL
Please guide me to set auto responder with the Ingo application. The "Auto
responder" function is my ultimate goal, I am ready to take any effort to
get that.
Thanks in advance for looking into it.
Leo

Hi Peter.!
Thank you for your suggestion.
Does the Ingo will provide the facility to use the auto responders..
Shall I use the following Doc to install
http://www.horde.org/apps/ingo/docs/INSTALL
>>pear install horde/ingo
Any known errors while using it with Plesk server ?
In case of any issues noted, Shall I use the following command to remove it
from my Debian server.
>>sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove php-horde-ingo
>>sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove php-horde-ingo
Anything else to taken care of before proceeding with the installation ?
Could you please let me know the uses of Ingo application/plugin briefly.
Thanks in advance.

Subject: [horde] Auto responder plugin
Hello All,
I am in search of an auto responder plugin for Horde. I have Horde with
5.1.5 and want to make use of auto responders while I am out of the office.
The "Vacation" plugin tried and found not working. Installed the Vacation
correctly. See screenshot
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0f32rlsbc8
But when trying to access it, It is encountering with the following PHP
error.
=========
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in
/usr/share/psa-horde/config/registry.php on line 73
=========
Seems like Horde and Vacation is using the same registry.php and Vacation
doesn't like the PHP code the way Horde uses. So any help to resolve this ?
Is this something related with a bad release of Vacation. Does the older
version of Vacation will work ? Please advise.
I see there is no stable release for vacation in your modules page.
http://www.horde.org/development/modules
However is there any other substitute that I can use in for Vacation ?
If there any please let me know so that I can try that.
In the meantime, What is Sork. I see this from the following link.
Please see
http://www.horde.org/apps/sork
Is there any possibility to use this for auto responder purposes ?
Thank in advance for looking into this.
Thanks and Regards,
Leo.

Use ingo http://www.horde.org/apps/ingo
1) Yes it provides vacation/auto-responder functionality
2) That doc is the correct doc for a pear install
3) You would install ingo the same way you installed Horde. (Pear or apt)
4) I don't know anything about Plesk so I can't answer that.
5) You can't apt-get remove unless you apt-get installed the package
6) Ingo uses FTP to set the .procmailrc file so the server does need to
have a working and correctly configured FTP server.
7) The Web page I referenced has an overview of what Ingo does, basically
email filters.
It is called Vacation, not auto-responder. It is on the Mail->Filters page.
Peter, I have checked the mail > Filter section. It just shows the following
*New rule
*Filter Rules
*Black list
*White list
Please see the screenshot for the same.
http://awesomescreenshot.com/03c2rusr1d
No vacation stuff there.
Up on clicking on the "new rule", It just shows some tasks to do and no
Vacation/auto responder/ anything similar to that.
See screenshot. http://awesomescreenshot.com/0cf2rv1l4c

Leo
Don't forget to explicitly deactivate your default filter engine, IMAP, in
your backends.local.conf. e.g.
<?php
/* Disable IMAP backend */
$backends['imap']['disabled'] = true;
