[horde] greetings - carddav and caldav?

I did just try and go removing the account from my Mac.  I re-added it with the address directly to the address book 'Personal', which I've been trying to work with.  It added it, but it still had the same errors.  When I looked in the setup, it had changed the address back to the principal address - and is again trying to write to the Favourite address book.  I can't see anywhere to change what it writes to -- in Horde Personal is already set as the default.

So what might be going on??
