That's pretty clear.  If you are 100% sure that the certificate is  
valid to use for authentication, has the required username in the  
configured field, and you have properly set up your environment to  
either not need passwords or are using a hook to provide them, then  
you need to figure out why it's failing. Start by looking in  
Horde_Core_ActiveSync_Auth::transparent() (in  
Core/ActiveSync/Auth.php) and find out which condition is failing. You  
should also check to see that the certificate related environment  
variables are being passed to PHP by your webserver (they will be in  
the $_SERVER superglobal variable).
