Hi,

while testing the migration from Horde 3 to Horde 5
I found, that I had access to some shares that I was
not aware of. In all cases some object creator perms
where set.

I opened some Bug Tickets, some bugs where fixed, but in
some other cases I received the feedback that it is working
as it is supposed to work.

This lead to the conclusion that I have a misunderstanding
how the object creator perms are supposed to work.
The Wiki (http://wiki.horde.org/Doc/Permissions) did not help
to understand them.

Can someone explain to me (or point me to the documentation)
how the object creator perms work.
Especially I don't understand the show and read permission for
object creator.

Some additional questions.

What is the difference between "Object Creator show" and
"All Authenticated Users show" ?

Am I supposed to have read access on Objects in shares if
object creator read is set for the share but I have no
show permission for the share?

Regards,

     Michael Menge
