[horde] Error message: "The domain and directory properties must be set by the class that extends Horde_Translation."

Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up Horde on my Apache server and when I'm
trying to open the config pages first time I'm getting the following error
message (and nothing else than that):

exception 'Horde_Translation_Exception' with message 'The domain and
directory properties must be set by the class that extends
Horde_Translation.' in /usr/share/php/Horde/Translation.php:55 Stack trace:

Any ideas what could be the cause for this? I couldn't find any reference
to "The domain and directory properties must be set by the class that
extends Horde_Translation." in the mailing list archives or through
a Google search (besides the source code containing the text of course).

The test.php works fine and shows everything as "ok" besides PAM support.

I'm using Horde 5.2.8 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Apache 2.4.7 and PHP 5.5.9-1.

Other PHP-based applications are working fine on the server.
