I figure this one will end up with an answer from Michael R :)
My android phone is setup with a VOIP account - and it works really
well out of the box.
Only thing is that the only way to use it for outgoing calls other
than have it prompt on EVERY call is to have sip addresses in your
contact list. Google Contacts supports the addition of an Internet
Call address, so I have a Google contact for a person who I want to
call using VOIP, with a SIP entry and then on my phone I merge this
contact with my Horde one. That then appears in the contact on the
phone with the appropriate SIP entry.
Google Contacts on the phone syncs up to my Google account with
"Internet Call sip:0011xxxxxxxxxx at mynetfone.com.au".
So my question - how would I go about getting my Horde ActiveSync /
Turba (mysql backend) setup to support and sync sip addresses? Is it
even do-able?
Simon.
