[horde] Problem with Horde "Mailbox does not support mod-sequences"

Take a look at http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Logging

Quoting: "Dovecot doesn't leak any extra information about it to clients"

So configure Dovecot to the level of log (and where to log) you want  
for the moment, then change back to the normal log.
