Horde doesn't use php-imap, so this will make no difference one way or
the other.

If you get this while in IMP, viewing email, it's almost certainly the
IMAP server. A DB error would be apparent just about everywhere in
Horde (and would most likely be a fatal error). There would also be
more information in the horde and/or server logs.

I assume this is imp/config/backends.local.php? You also misspelled
the 'cache' key.
